A few weeks ago, I attended the media update event of Singapore Tourism Board here in Cebu. One of the things they discussed was the best dates to visit Singapore. By choosing any of these dates, you’re guaranteed to see all the attractions PLUS MORE! They also discussed other important details for any first time and returning traveler – places to go and restaurants to eat at in Singapore.
I thought I’d share the information with you guys, so you can plan ahead and have the best vacation you so desire. Without further ado, here is your ultimate guide to get the best of Singapore.
When is the best time to visit Singapore?
1. Third week of May – July / Great Singapore Sale
Shop till you draft from all the high-end boutiques found in Singapore. Most of them will have up to 75% off so you’ll surely save a lot!
2. June 5 – 16 / S.E.A Games
Support our country’s representatives in the Southeast Asian Games. The Philippines is sending over 400 athletes to participate in 33 sports. Go Pinoys, Go!
3. September 18 – 20 / 2015 Formula 1 Grand Prix
If you want to witness the highest class of single-seat auto racing in the world, go on September 18 – 20, 2015. The event will be graced by international entertainment acts that include Pharrell Williams, Maroon 5, Spandau Ballet, among others.
4. October 26 – November 1 / BNP Paribas WTA Finals
If you’re a huge fan of tennis, this is for you.
5. Dec 12 – 13 / Zoukout
Dying to attend a Coachella-like event? Try Zoukout. ZoukOut is an annual dance music festival held in Singapore since 2000. It is one of Asia’s biggest music dance festivals and is organised by Zouk SG.
