Since I have not heard of Fuzion Gourmet before, I didn’t think highly of the place when a friend invited me to check it out. “It’s probably some small restaurant with a fancy name,” I said.
So when we got there, I can’t help but be in awe as to how authentic the place felt. It was as if I “teleported” to another country! Their tables had these glass face filled with beans and pasta from France. The colors fit the place well too, since European countries are well-known for their romantic vibe.
Their food got me even more excited! They had items on the menu that I couldn’t pronounce well. You know, I’ve always had this motto: if you can’t read it, don’t eat it. But of course, I had to make an exception
Fuzion Gourmet first served us our appetizer – Flammekueche (gratinated pie with cheese, bacon and onions). Who could say no to this?! It costs only 225PHP/$5. According to their fan page, this recipe is from Alsace (eastern region of France). We devoured this in minutes! It’s like a classier version of pizza! :P
I had to make sure I get to taste their Turkey too! When I was younger, I read something on the internet which says, chicken is for the poor while turkey is for the rich. And while I don’t like to stereotype people, it really got me wondering how turkey tastes like. It was delish! Plus one for this!
I also had some lamb at Fuzion Gourmet. Honestly, it was my first time tasting one. I got too excited I finished it fast. It’s an upscale of grilled pork tenders, of course. But it doesn’t really go far from pork belly’s taste so if you’re low on funds, you can go their grilled pork belly.
I was with the younger siblings of my friend when we ate there, so I was pretty concerned as to what we should order for the kids. Good thing, they had grilled pork belly and some Hungarian sausage. They probably did not enjoy it as much as Jollibee’s crispy chicken, but that’s totally understandable because the sausage didn’t come with a toy. :)
Best news ever! They have these ultra-summer thirst quenchers for only P95. It’s so cheap and delish, I swear! And if the photo isn’t compelling enough, they have a promo now where you can get one for free if buy their frappes during happy hour: 7-8pm.
Legendary offer for some amazing customers, yes? I invite you all to visit Fuzion Gourmet. They a great place and some really delicious and affordable dishes. :)
